Computational Chemist

Summary

A scientist that will be responsible for using high-end computational drug discovery tools in order to discover and optimize new drugs. Team player as well as independent Vast experience

Requirements

• An excellent, highly motivated scientist with postgraduate degree in one of the following:
• Chemistry (Theoretical or Organic)
• Pharmacology
• Structural or theoretical biology
• Bioinformatics or chemoinformatics
• Or other related disciplines
• Computer skills and proven teamwork capabilities is mandatory.
• Expertise in: docking molecular dynamics simulation/structure-based drug discovery methods a Plus
• Academic or industrial experience is required.
• A scientific academic degree in a relevant field (Ph.D. desired)
• Good communication (written and verbal) skills in Hebrew and English>

Work skills

• Computer skills (C++, Perl or Python) - desired
• Knowledge of the Unix, Linux and/or Windows operating system.
• Teamwork capabilities, multi-tasking and ability to work under strict timelines are mandatory.
